A History of the Town of Keene is a historical document that we originally discovered at the Cheshire Historical Society located in Keene, New Hampshire. It outlines how the English came to be in Keene in regards to the Massachusetts Land Grants and the renaming of the town to Keene after Sir Benjamin Keene. The book also describes briefly the behaviors of the original Indians in the area.
