Maps

These areas are all in Maine and all have to deal with the migration of the Abenaki Indians and where they are today. There is also some of the areas highlighted from the stories told in the website. This map is very interactive and tells you the story of the Abenaki through the landmarks. These landmarks are important to know one because they are the areas that have been changed over time. It also gives context from a geographic standpoint on where the areas are in Maine.

On this Link you will find the google map that has has all of the landmarks that are mentioned throughout the website. In order to zoom in on the map you can either use the mouse to do so as if to scroll, or you can click on the plus and minus icon in the bottom right hand corner. In order to see what the landmark is for just hover over the icon. There is also a key on the left hand side that will help explain where everything is.
