Timeline

The making of this timeline was very interesting. I had expected it to be harder to build, and put together for visual view. However that was not the hardest part. The part that was actually harder then putting it together was finding the information. The Abenaki Indian History is something that has been forgotten, and messed with so much in the past that trying to find the truth is a little harder then just looking it up. The research for the timeline was done primarily through readings in books. For the history and for a lot of the projects that I have been working on in this class it has become clear that my evidence will be through good old fashioned book research. That is an exciting thing to look forward to, and also a good challenge to have. The only thing that has concerned me about finding this out is future generations not knowing how to do that type of research, and loosing the history that is so key to the fact that the American Population lives on the land it does today. If the history for the Abenaki and Indian populations is only found in books then could we risk actually loosing their true history altogether?
